The future of urban planning.
Future City Systems is developing new solutions for planned cities and urban planning.
We are combining two patented modular building systems on a combined grid to provide fast AI-aided planning: CLIK and OctoCubit. Both are based on recycled aluminum frames and a ‘CLIK’-in mechanic for wall panels and windows. Being based together on a combined three-dimensional matrix makes it the perfect solution for implementation into algorithms.
Due to the nature of both building systems, which can be assembled, disassembled and parts reused, the cities designed with our building systems can adjust to their inhabitants needs over the cause of years without demolition and major construction works. True sustainable cities and development solutions, that will help achieve the worldwide goal of lowering carbon emissions.
Sustainable
Our building systems are made from low carbon emission recycled aluminum. The main characteristic of our building systems is that every part is reusable. No demolition of buildings, only disassembly. The parts can be brought to another site or assembled into a different building on the same site.
Everything on grid
Extending the idea of a unifying main grid from a single building to a suburb or whole city makes planning faster and cheaper. Both building systems working on this grid allows for relocation or remodeling of building for different usage. Having learned from current problems in urban planning on management, this will make it possible for future cities to evolve with the need of its inhabitants and save huge amounts of resources at the same time.
Scalable
Both building systems allow to extend buildings further. Next to the possibility of relocation and modifying the building for different usage, this lets a new city literally grow organically with a rising population and balance out housing shortages in times of rapid population shifts.
Vertical Growth
OctoCubit allows the step-by-step vertical growth of a city. Modules of 10-story-buildings can be grouped and reinforced to grow up to 1000 meters. The vertical growth of the city can be used for wind farming and more green spaces on open decks. Both, commercial spaces and residential housing can grow this way.
Smart Cities
All points above play into being the ideal system to connect to the rise in smart cities. The freedom to adjust the city to its inhabitants needs based on the collected data becomes a lot bigger. Being completely grid based, also in vertical direction makes working with digital twins a lot more predictable and easier to implement. That also means that working with AI as a planning tool will be finally more applicable, as the whole city layout is easy to translate into code for further processing.
