Case Study One
Industrial District Development
OctoCubit is ideal to set up large scale factories. Both of our building systems can be manufactured on location, offering new employment opportunities and reduction in costs for logistics and time to develop a new district.
Rapid Growth
Manufacturing on location offers rapid growth for commercial and residential buildings. Housing, office and commercial buildings can be set up straight out of the factory and speed up growing the district further.
Off-Grid
CLIK and OctoCubit are both well suited for the installation of solar panels. By further setting up solar arrays to ensure electricity generation for the factories, the district can exist off-grid.
Case Study Two
Planned City
Taking the possibilities of our building systems to the next level, we can plan whole cities. The need for cities in several developing countries asks for cost-efficient and fast realization of mass housing and infrastructure, which we can provide.
Cellular Growth
Both our building systems work on a shared grid. That allows a cellular growth of cities, while dis- and re-assembly of units is possible and cells can be switched around, according to the collected data about the inhabitants of the city.
Green Cities
Next to urban green spaces, it is at our hearts to design our buildings with space for vertical gardening in mind. Air quality and mental health are scientifically proven increased by incorporating more green spaces into urban landscapes.
Case Study Three
Floating Cities
OctoCubit has the capability of floating on water. Assembled to huge artificial islands it can be a new way to build floating cities. Seamless design, from floating device to housing and commercial spaces on top can be achieved.
All one system
The OctoCubit structure can extends under water, to provide buoyancy. Being assembled from the same components as the buildings, this offers a seamless approach. The architecture on the island can found on the underlying structure and all together provides a continuous system of structural integrity.
Off-Grid
Incorporating wind and solar energy generation, the islands can exist off-grid. The roofs of buildings can be equipped with both, to provide maximum output.
